His insight and experience enable him to form a unique approach which integrates the contents of several martial arts, resulting in the achievement of a system that emphasizes liberation, integrity, and oneness. His guidance and compassionate teaching accelerates the development of his students by constantly providing feedback appropriate to their individual needs.

He started learning kung fu at an early age, with his primary styles being Yi Chuan and Hop Gar. Master Fung is a direct lineage disciple in the Hop Gar system and is internationally respected for his expertise in Mok Gar, Southern Dragon, and Tung Be systems of kung fu as well. He is well known for his subtle and explosive internal power in Yi Chuan. He has incorporated an Esoteric Buddhist Chi Kung method to attune energy for the benefit of his students.
